Advice to my 10 year younger self.

Hey 14-year old Rizu,

Finally you got your own room as you wished for. I know we moved to a new house without even changing our address!!!. I know leaving our old 1BHK house for this 2BHK is difficult for you , but trust me its only for the better.

1. So, finally Class 10th huh !!! I remember , how much your relatives , parents and his friends has been hyping this up. Like the first major exam , or the most important exam whose marks you will carry forever and all.Although to some extent they are correct but its definitely not the most important exam of your life . With the coming up of CCE , they will hold less importance in future .

2. Tell Asha that you love her. Yes, I know you think that she is some hi-fi girl but she is not . And yes movies me jo dekte ho tum wo tum apne real life me kar skte ho and the girl will appreciate it. Dont try to plan so much, ki is date pe ye bolunga, ye date pe yeh karunga. There is no right time .If you dont let her know then someone else will and she will move on. And P.S.- Dont ask your friend to hit on her, you will get hurt to hear about her from him.

3. Don't sneak into your parent's stuff (or anyone else's stuff). I know parents never taught about privacy or stopped from looking around. But don't do that, you may find something that will scar you and fill you with uneasiness.

4. Worried about English !!! I know you don't get good marks in language subjects like Hindi and English and that bothers you . Can i tell you a secret , in future you will be teased and praises for your skills in Hindi and English. So don't get too disappointed or sad over that.

5. Manmesh isn't your only friend. "Manmahesh", Manmesh is your closest friend , that doesn't mean you cant have other friends .You can be good friends with other too and he can be friends with other too, increase your circle and keep them. Don't let distance become a factor in friendship .
